1. Designation: Facility Manager

Job Overview

The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring that the entire CARE campus—including academic blocks, hostels, studios, workshops, common areas, and outdoor spaces—is clean, functional, aesthetically maintained, and inspection-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Hygiene Management

  • Lead campus-wide housekeeping across academic buildings, hostels, offices, exam halls, labs, studios, libraries, and washrooms.

  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedules and checklists.

  • Conduct routine hygiene audits and ensure compliance with CARE standards.

  • Monitor washroom deep cleaning, hostel cleanup, and kitchen hygiene.

  • Ensure continuous availability of consumables.

Waste & Sanitation Management

  • Oversee solid waste segregation and disposal.

  • Coordinate with municipal authorities/contractors for timely removal.

  • Manage e-waste, biomedical waste (if applicable), and sanitary waste protocols.

  • Maintain sanitation logs required for NAAC/NBA/AICTE/DoTE.

Grounds, Gardening & Campus Ambience

  • Supervise gardening teams and landscape maintenance.

  • Ensure lawns, plants, pathways, signage, and outdoor lighting are tidy and functional.

  • Implement green campus initiatives and seasonal planting.

Daily Operations & Logistics

  • Ensure readiness of classrooms, labs, studios, seminar halls, and auditoriums.

  • Coordinate event setups and furniture movement.

  • Monitor hostel block cleanliness before inspections and student check-in.

  • Manage lost & found system and key/lock control.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Oversee housekeeping, gardening, pest control, waste management, and laundry vendors.

  • Verify vendor performance, attendance, billing, and SLA compliance.

  • Address non-performance issues.

Compliance, Audits & Documentation

  • Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, sanitation records.

  • Prepare the campus for AICTE, NAAC, NBA, AU, DoTE, ISO, and fire audits.

  • Ensure FSSAI compliance for mess and kitchen areas.

  • Maintain water quality testing records.

Estate & Security Coordination

  • Work with Estate Manager to resolve civil/electrical issues.

  • Coordinate with Security Manager for events and vendor movements.

  • Provide facility support during emergencies.

Budgeting & Inventory

  • Prepare and monitor housekeeping budgets.

  • Track consumable purchases and reduce wastage.

Staff Leadership

  • Lead supervisors, gardeners, helpers, and housekeeping staff.

  • Manage duty rosters for academic days, exams, holidays.

  • Train staff on hygiene, safety protocols, and service quality.

  • Enforce discipline, dress code, and SOPs.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Cleanliness audit score ≥ 90%

  • Washroom hygiene/odour compliance

  • Hostel cleanliness ratings

  • Vendor SLA performance

  • Staff attendance compliance

  • Daily facility readiness score

  • Complaint closure ≤ 24 hours

  • Zero-remarks inspection readiness

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Hospitality/Facility/Hotel Management preferred).

  • 10+ years experience in facility management or hospitality operations.

  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping, hygiene compliance, and vendor management.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and multitasking ability.

2. Designation: Senior Office Superintendent

Job Overview

The Senior Office Superintendent will handle statutory, regulatory, and academic administration tasks for higher education operations, including documentation, compliance, staff supervision, and student data management.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory, Compliance & Inspection Management

  • Maintain all documents required for AICTE, AU, DoTE, NAAC, NBA.

  • Coordinate inspection visits and documentation updates.

  • Keep statutory registers and compliance files accurate.

Academic Administration

  • Update/upload student and institution data in UMIS and university portals.

  • Maintain admission registers, attendance records, scholarship files.

  • Assist in preparing academic council reports and regulatory submissions.

Admissions & Student Data Management

  • Manage UG/PG admissions documentation for Engineering, MBA, Arts, Architecture.

  • Maintain student certificates and fee-related data.

  • Guide students through government scholarship processes.

Office Administration & Supervision

  • Supervise administrative staff and daily office operations.

  • Oversee filing systems, communication logs, and document workflows.

  • Draft official letters, circulars, notices, and reports.

Finance & Inventory

  • Assist with fee documentation, bills, vouchers, expenses.

  • Monitor stationery and office resource stock.

Communication & Liaison

  • Liaise with university authorities, accreditation bodies, and government departments.

  • Coordinate with Principals, Deans, HoDs, and management.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 10–15 years experience in higher education administration.

  • Hands-on experience with AICTE/AU/DoTE/NAAC/NBA documentation and UMIS.

  • Strong communication in English and Tamil.

  • Ability to manage compliance-heavy workflows.

Preferred Qualities
