Qualification

Option A

• Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognized university.

• Must have NET/SET/SLET qualification OR

• Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 with exemptions as per prescribed conditions.

• Ability to teach in Sanskrit (for Sanskrit/Shastra subjects) or ability to teach in the concerned language.

Option B

• Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked in the Top 500 by QS / THE / ARWU / Shanghai rankings.

• Candidates should be able to teach through Sanskrit (where relevant).
