• Marine Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry
  • 1. Assistant Professor (on Contract) in Genomic
    2. Assistant Professor (on Contract) in Bioinformatics

Qualification: 

• Assistant Professor (on Contract) Genomics as specialization :
  1. M.Sc in Genomics Science or M.Sc in Biotechnology or M.Sc in Molecular Biology with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
  2. National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 (the essential qualifications shall be in compliance with the UGC Regulations 2018).
  3. Other eligibility conditions as per UGC Regulations 2018.
• Assistant Professor (on Contract) Bioinformatics as specialization:
  1. Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Bioinformatics or M.Sc in Computational Biology with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
  2. National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 (the essential qualifications shall be in compliance with the UGC Regulations 2018).
  3. Other eligibility conditions as per UGC Regulations 2018.

Consolidated Salary per Month: Rs. 42,000/- for Ph.D and Rs. 40,000/- for Others
