The university is now inviting applications for Contractual Assistant Professors in Vocational Studies, specifically in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology and Operation Theater Technology.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Operation Theater Technology (OTT) or Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

  • Mandatory Requirement:

    • NET/SLET/SET qualification OR

    • Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.

    • Exception: NET/SLET/SET is not required for disciplines where these tests are not conducted.

    • Foreign Degree Holders: Ph.D. from a top 500 global university (QS/THE/ARWU rankings).

Experience:

  • Teaching/research experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary & Benefits

Emoluments (Monthly Salary):

  • PG Degree (without NET/SET/GATE): ₹45,000

  • NET/SET/GATE Qualified: ₹48,000

  • Ph.D. Holders: ₹50,000

  • Ph.D. + NET/SET/GATE: ₹50,000

Tenure:

  • Initial contract until 31st December 2025, extendable based on performance appraisal, departmental recommendations, and university requirements.

Leaves/Vacations:

  • As per university norms for contractual engagements.

  2. Interview: Final selection through interview only.

  3. Panel Validity: Recommended candidates remain on a 1-year panel for future vacancies.

  • No TA/DA: Provided for attending the interview.

  • Foreign Degree Holders: Must submit an AIU Equivalence Certificate.

  • Plagiarism Check: Candidates must submit an undertaking against plagiarism.

  • Jurisdiction: Legal disputes fall under Srinagar courts only.

  • Performance Clause: Contract can be terminated for unsatisfactory performance with 1-month notice.
