DHITM, established in 2025 under the Orissa Child Welfare & Education Trust (OCWET) in partnership with Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA), Darjeeling, is a PPP mode engineering and management college affiliated to MAKAUT West Bengal and approved by AICTE.

The campus is located at Hum Takdah, Darjeeling district, 6,000 ft above sea level, surrounded by lush tea gardens and Himalayan landscapes. It offers a highly disciplined residential environment focused on holistic student development. 📌 Eligibility / Candidate Profile

Assistant Professor:

  • Ph.D., Master’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree with First Class in the relevant discipline

  • Faculty with R&D, consultancy, patents, EDC, industry interaction, and innovation experience preferred

Librarian:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Library Science

  • Minimum 4–5 years experience preferred

  • Skills: Cataloguing, digital library management, student support

Admission Counsellor:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline

  • Minimum 4–5 years experience preferred

  • Responsibilities: Guide and counsel prospective students, manage inquiries, support admission campaigns

Skills for All Posts:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to positively represent the institution
