Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University (SGGSWU), Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, invites applications for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor positions (both Regular and Contractual) across multiple disciplines. This is an excellent opportunity for academic professionals to join a UGC-approved institution established under Punjab State Act 20/2008.

Position Details

1. Associate Professor (Regular)

2. Assistant Professor (Regular & Contractual)

  • Departments & Vacancies:

    • Regular Positions: Agriculture (Horticulture), Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Punjabi, etc. (See detailed table below).

    • Contractual Positions: Mathematics (07), Commerce & Management (08), Computer Science (08), Law (09), and more.

Note: The number of vacancies is provisional and subject to change.

Eligibility Criteria

For Associate Professor:

  • Essential:

    • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

    • Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience post-Ph.D., including at least 3 years as Assistant Professor.

    • Compliance with UGC API scores and qualifications.

For Assistant Professor:

  • Essential:

    • Master’s degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC).

    • UGC-NET qualification (exempted for contractual positions).

    • For contractual roles, candidates without NET may apply.

General Conditions:

  • Preference for candidates with PG teaching experience.

  • Relaxations: 5% marks at Master’s level for SC/ST/OBC.

  • Contractual Positions: ₹500/- (SC/ST/OBC: ₹250/-).
