Project Title: Biocontrol of Alternaria Leaf Spot Disease in Gossypium spp. by using Bacterial Species in Gujarat

Department: Biotechnology, GUNI – Mehsana Urban Institute of Sciences

Project Tenure: 36 Months

Job Description: Fundamental understanding of isolation, identification, and characterization of bacterial species with biocontrol potential, conducting field trials to evaluate their efficacy in managing Alternaria leaf spot disease in cotton plant

Essential Qualification: As per CSIR Guidelines for Research Scheme/Sponsored Schemes/ Emeritus Scientist please refer to CSIR-HRDG website: www.csirhrdg.res.in B.S. 4 years programme/integrated BSMS/M.Sc. or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing NET/GATE test

Age Limit: 28 Years

Age relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC/women/ physically handicapped candidates.

Fellowship: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Rs.37,000/-per month.
