Recruitment Notice for Technical Staff and Professionals

The Punjab Development Commission (PDC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the appointment/recruitment of technical staff and professionals. This notification outlines the revised educational eligibility criteria and extended deadlines for submission of online applications. Interested candidates are encouraged to review the details carefully and apply before the closing date.

Revised Educational Eligibility Criteria

In partial modification of the earlier recruitment guidelines (No. 1/28-PDC-2023/1981, March 2024), the competent authority has approved the following amendments to the minimum educational qualifications:

  1. Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma/Executive PGP (minimum 1 year duration) in any discipline.
    OR

  2. Graduate Degree (Bachelor’s) with a minimum of 4 years of study after 10+2 in any discipline.

Special Note:

  • Professional degrees/courses requiring a minimum of 5 years of study post-10+2 (e.g., MBBS, LLB, CA/CS, BA-LLB, etc.) will be considered equivalent to a Master’s degree for eligibility and shortlisting purposes.

  • Candidates must ensure their degrees are formally recognized by their respective professional bodies (e.g., Bar Council of India, Institute of Chartered Accountants, etc.).

This revised criteria supersedes all previous references to educational qualifications for technical staff recruitment at PDC and comes into immediate effect.
