Job Title

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project Details

  • Title of the Project: Cyber Resilient Wide Area Control of Inverter-Based Power Networks

  • Tenure of Project: Maximum 3 years or until project completion (whichever is earlier).

Essential Qualifications

  • First-class B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical & Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.

  • Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems / Power Electronics / Control Systems.

  • Selection criteria:
    a) Scholars selected through CSIR-UGC NET (Assistant Professorship) / GATE.
    b) Selection via national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.).

Desirable Qualifications

  • Strong academic record.

  • Proficiency in PSCAD simulation.

  • Good analytical and research skills.

Fellowship

  • ₹37,000 + HRA (16%) – First two years.

  • ₹42,000 + HRA (16%) – Third year.

  • HRA applicable only if campus accommodation is unavailable.
