Project Title:
Electrodes for charge storage by (i) electrochemical deposition of transition metal oxide on carbon cloth and (ii) electrospun fiber from lignin-based sources with subsequent carbonization (OIL)
Department:
Chemical Engineering
Essential Qualification:

Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Energy Engineering / Physics / Chemistry / Material Science / Ceramic Technology.

Candidates must be selected through one of the following processes:

CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments or agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.

Desirable Experience:
Hands-on experience in electrode fabrication for battery/supercapacitor applications.
Note: A small relaxation in age limit may be considered for suitably qualified and experienced candidates, based on the selection committee’s recommendation.
