  • Minimum 6 years teaching / research / industrial experience

  • At least 3 years as Assistant Professor (or equivalent) in reputed Indian or foreign institutions

Assistant Professor – Grade I

  • Minimum 3 years teaching / research / industrial experience (excluding Ph.D. period)

Assistant Professor – Grade II

  • Candidates with less than 3 years experience

  • Appointed on contract basis

  • Entry Pay:

    • Level 10 (₹70,900) or Level 11 (₹84,800)

  • Progression to Level 12 (₹1,01,500) after 3 years upon satisfactory assessment

Pay Scale

  • Professor: Level 14A | ₹1,59,100 – ₹2,20,200

  • Associate Professor: Level 13A2 | ₹1,39,600 – ₹2,11,300

  • Assistant Professor (Grade I): Level 12 | ₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400
