Organization Profile

The Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM), Bengaluru was established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India to modernize and strengthen the plantation sector through management education and training.

In 1990, the Government constituted a core group to establish a strategic institution focused on management education for the plantation sector. The institute was envisioned as a centre of excellence, think tank, and intellectual resource base for the plantation industry. IIPM promotes strong industry–institute collaboration and specialized sectoral management programs.
