Organization Profile: Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients.

Qualification:
i. Master’s Degree in Law with minimum 55% marks from a recognized institution or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
ii. NET conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET/GPAT/GATE or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Desirable Qualifications:
a)The Candidates having Doctorate in Law will be preferred.
b) Teaching/research/industrial/professional experience in a reputed organization.
c) Good Research Publications.
Note: For Guest Faculty, Practicing Advocates shall be preferred to teach procedural subjects and to appoint as Moot Trainers. And such practicing advocates are exempted from the criteria of NET or Ph.D.
Pay Scale: Remuneration/ Salary as per Jamia Hamdard norms.
