Organization Profile: Jawaharlal Nehru, Freedom Fighter and Independent India’s first Prime Minister, lived a many-splendoured life dedicated to the service of the nation. Not only was his role in the freedom struggle an outstanding one, as free India’s Prime Minister for 17 years he became the symbol of the hopes and aspirations of a resurgent India. He occupied a unique place in the hearts of the Indian people, an affection which cut across all barriers of race and creed, language and religion, party and ideology.
Scholarships for Doctoral Studies: Eighteen scholarships (UR-6/SC-3/ST- 1/OBC-5/EWS-2/PwD-1) will be offered to Indian Nationals and two scholarships to Nationals of other Asian countries for Ph.D. studies in India from 1 April 2025 for up to 2 years.
The subjects covered are:
- Indian History & Civilization,
- Sociology,
- Comparative Studies in Religion & Culture,
- Ecology & Environment and Economics.
