National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY) is one of the ten newly established NITs in India. Located in Karaikal, a coastal enclave of the Union Territory of Puducherry in the basin of the River Kaveri, the institute aims to develop responsible and skilled technocrats capable of contributing to national growth.
Since the academic year 2010–11, students have been admitted through JEE Main, with 50% of seats reserved for candidates from Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe, and Yanam, while the remaining seats are filled through the All India quota.

Salary / Fellowship

₹37,000 per month + 10% HRA (for the first 2 years)
