Research Position

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Title of the Project

Exploring niche-specific marine actinobacteria: Uncovering novel antibiotics from rare actinobacteria

Essential Qualifications

  • M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences or a related discipline

  • Research experience in:

    • Molecular Biology

    • Microbiology

    • Natural Products

    • Marine samples

    • Antibiotic mechanisms of action

Project Duration

  • One year, extendable up to the project duration based on satisfactory performance

Stipend

  • ₹37,000/- per month + 8% HRA

Job Location

  • Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand
