Eligibility

• Eminent artists or professionals fulfilling the qualifications required for Lecturer (Bharatanatyam) level posts in Central or State Government institutions
  OR

• Lecturers in Bharatanatyam working in Central / State Government institutions holding analogous posts
  OR

• Candidates with 8 years regular service in Pay Level 15 (₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800) of Tamil Nadu Government Pay Scale or equivalent level

Essential Qualifications

• Class X pass

• Diploma / Degree / Post Diploma from a recognized institution in Bharatanatyam or related field

• Ability to perform a solo Bharatanatyam performance of approximately 2 hours

• Ability to sing and conduct dance programs with Nattuvangam

• Ability to participate in Kalakshetra productions

• Ability to teach junior and senior classes and theory in English

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Bharatanatyam

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of South Indian languages and Hindi

• Ability to write music and dance notations
