Open Positions

KMIT is seeking dynamic and qualified candidates for the following faculty positions:

1. Associate Professor

Departments:

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in the relevant field (mandatory)

  • First class in Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (Engineering)

  • Exemplary academic record

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of teaching/research/industry experience post-Ph.D.

2. Assistant Professor

Departments:

  • Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

  • Computer Science & Engineering (AI & ML)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (M.Tech) in the relevant field (Ph.D. preferred)

  • First class in Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees

Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of teaching/research/industry experience

Key Responsibilities

✅ Deliver high-quality teaching in CSE and AI/ML disciplines
✅ Engage in R&D, consultancy, and industry collaborations
✅ Promote patents, publications, and funded projects
✅ Mentor students in Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and Tinkering Lab initiatives
✅ Develop value-added courses to enhance employability
