 Qualification & Eligibility

  • Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned subject from a recognized University / Institution

  • M.Ed Degree with 55% marks from an NCTE recognized institution

  • Must have qualified NET conducted by UGC / CSIR or equivalent SET / SLET in the concerned subject

📌 NET Exemption

Candidates awarded Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 / 2016 (and amendments) are exempted from NET/SET.

For Ph.D. candidates registered prior to 11 July 2009, exemption is subject to:

  • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode

  • Thesis evaluated by at least two examiners

  • Open Ph.D. viva voce conducted

  • Two research papers published from Ph.D. work (minimum one in a refereed journal)

  • Two conference/seminar papers presented based on Ph.D. work, sponsored/funded by UGC / ICSSR / CSIR or similar agencies

 Pay Scale

Pay Band – 3: ₹15,600 – ₹39,100
Academic Grade Pay (AGP): ₹6,000
