Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT), Prayagraj, is one of India’s premier institutions dedicated to technical education, innovation, and research. Established in 1961 as one of the seventeen Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) of India, it was a joint initiative of the Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh and was affiliated with the University of Allahabad, the third-oldest university in the country.

Qualification & Eligibility:

  • Visionary leader with proven administrative, academic, and research credentials.

  • Ph.D. degree with first-class degree at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in Engineering/Technology.

  • For candidates with Ph.D. obtained directly after B.E./B.Tech., first class at Bachelor’s level is mandatory.

  • Eminent academician with an outstanding record in their field of specialization.

  • At least 15 years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research, of which 10 years must be at the level of Professor or higher in a reputed institution, industry, or research organization.

  • Age preferably not more than 65 years as on the closing date of application.

Pay Scale:

  • ₹2,10,000/- (fixed) per month

  • Special Allowance of ₹11,250/- plus other usual allowances as per rules.

  • Terms and conditions will be governed by the NIT Act, Statutes, and Ordinances.
