Research Position

🧪 Position Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
🏫 Department: Department of Production Engineering
📘 Project Title: “Sustainable machining of carbon fibre reinforced polymer composite in a hybrid lubri-cooling environment.”

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Degree (ME/M.Tech) or Graduate Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Mechanical / Production Engineering

  • Selection through one of the following:

    • CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE

    • National-level examinations conducted by Central Government agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IITs, IISc, IISER, etc.

    • As per Office Memorandum SB/59/Z-06/2019 dated 23.04.2019

Desirable Qualification:

  • Knowledge in computational and experimental techniques related to sustainable machining and composite materials.

Project Duration

🕓 Initial Appointment: 4 months
📈 Extension: Up to the duration of the project based on performance and fund availability

Fellowship

💰 JRF Salary: ₹31,000 per month + HRA (as per SERB norms)
