National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated on 18th August 2010 as part of a group of ten new NITs established to address India’s growing demand for technical professionals. The institute initially functioned under the mentorship of NIT Durgapur and has been operating independently since the appointment of its first permanent Director in November 2011.

Pay Scale / Remuneration:

  • Ph.D.: Rs. 1,500/- per class, subject to a maximum of Rs. 60,000/- per month

  • Non-Ph.D.: Rs. 1,000/- per class, subject to a maximum of Rs. 40,000/- per month

  • Lab/Tutorial classes of 02 contact hours will be treated as 01 contact hour for remuneration
