Organization Profile: The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated on 18th August 2010 as a member of a group of ten new NITs. These new NITs were established as centers of excellence in technical education to combat the growing need for technological professionals in India. NIT Arunachal Pradesh started functioning under the mentorship of NIT Durgapur till, when the first permanent Director Prof. (Dr.) Chandan Tilak Bhunia assumed the charge on 1st November, 2011.

Project Title: Lignin Valorization via biomaterial development, depolymerization, and green technology
Sponsoring Agency: Ministry of Science & Technology- DBT
Qualification:
- For JRF: M.Tech in Civil Engineering with GATE score and specialization in Structural Engineering/ Concrete Technology
- For Project Associate-I: M.Tech in Civil Engineering and specialization in Structural Engineering/ Concrete Technology
- For Project Associate-II:
- M.Tech in Civil Engineering and specialization in Structural Engineering/ Concrete Technology
- Two years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Tenure of the Project: 03 years
Age Limit:
- 28 years for JRF
- 35 years for Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II
Pay Scale:
- For JRF: Rs. 37,000/- per month + 9% HRA
- For Project Associate-I: Rs. 31,000/- per month + 9% HRA
- For Project Associate-II: Rs. 35,000/- per month + 9% HRA
