The National Institute of Technology Patna (NIT Patna) is the 18th NIT established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, after the transformation of the erstwhile Bihar College of Engineering on 28th January 2004. With origins tracing back to 1886, NIT Patna stands as the 6th oldest engineering institution in India. The institute, located on the scenic south bank of the river Ganges near Gandhi Ghat, has been a pioneer in engineering education and research for over a century.

Qualifications

  • Essential:

    • B.E./B.Tech. with a minimum of 60% marks in Electronics and Communication Engineering,
      or

    • M.E./M.Tech. with a minimum of 60% marks in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

  • Desirable:

    • Experience in Antenna Design, Microwave Engineering, or Communication Engineering.

    • GATE qualification is preferable.

Duration of Position

1 year, extendable up to 2 years based on performance.
