Job Title:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project Title:

TARANG: Design of Terahertz Wireless Communications Systems for 6G

Department:

Electronics and Communication Engineering

Duration:

03 years or completion of project (whichever is earlier)
Extension based on performance review every 12 months

Essential Qualification

  • M.Tech./M.E. degree in:

    • Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

    • Electrical Engineering (EE)

    • Electronics & Instrumentation (E&I)

  • With/without valid GATE/NET

Minimum Marks Requirement

  • GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL:

    • Minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA at both UG & PG

  • SC/ST/PwD:

    • Minimum 55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA at both UG & PG

Desirable Experience

  • Strong knowledge in:

    • Digital communication

    • Probability theory

    • Optimization

    • Wireless communication systems

  • Experience with:

    • MATLAB

    • Python

    • Simulation tools

Salary (Per Month):

  • ₹37,000 + HRA (with or without GATE/NET)

  • JRF will be promoted to SRF after successful completion of 2 years
