Organization Profile: The NMIMS’s Balwant Sheth School of Architecture (BSSA) focuses on various modes of architectural education, research and practice. It emphasizes on the ever changing ethos, behavioral sciences, tools and techniques, and assimilates all in contemporary design expression.

The students would be offered holistic exposure and understanding through Art, History, Technology, Architectural Design and Construction process. Balwant Sheth School of Architecture would award a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), under the five years degree program of NMIMS which is recognized by the Council of Architecture.

Eligibility Criteria:

FOR THE POST OF PROFESSOR  

i.  Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Equivalent to B.Arch.  AND Master’s Degree in Architecture or in allied subjects of Architecture with   minimum 60% marks at either level, and Fourteen years experience in teaching/Research/Professional work out of which a full time teaching experience of minimum 5 years

or

19 Years of Professional experience.

Ph.D. in Architecture is Desirable.

FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

i. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Equivalent to B.Arch.  AND Master’s Degree in Architecture or in allied subjects of Architecture with   minimum 60% marks at either level and 8 Years’ experience in teaching/Research/Professional Work out of which a full time teaching experience of minimum 3 Years

or

13 Years of Professional experience.                     

FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR  

i.    Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Equivalent to B.Arch. with Minimum 60% marks and 3 Years’ of Relevant professional  experience.     Or

ii.  Bachelor’s  Degree in Architecture or Equivalent to B.Arch.  AND Master’s Degree in Architecture or in allied subjects of Architecture with   minimum 60% marks at either level and one year of relevant professional experience.
