Tamilnadu College of Engineering (TNCE), sponsored by the Tamilnadu Technical Education Foundation, has been a cornerstone of technical education since its establishment in 1984. Founded by pioneering educators Lion T.N. Palanisami and Dr. P.V. Ravi, the college is built on the belief that the relentless pursuit of knowledge is the key to success. Recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, TNCE is affiliated with Anna University. 

Departments with Vacancies

TNCE invites applications for faculty positions at all levels (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) in the following departments:

  • Engineering: Automobile (AUTO), Civil (CIVIL), Electrical & Electronics (EEE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), Computer Science (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS), Instrumentation & Control (ICE), Mechanical (MECH)

  • Basic Sciences & Humanities: Mathematics, English

Essential Qualifications

  • Primary: A postgraduate degree M.E./M.Tech. in the relevant engineering specialization. For English and Mathematics, a relevant Master’s degree and NET/SET/Ph.D. as per AICTE/UGC norms are required.

  • Experience: Will be strictly as per AICTE norms for the respective post (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor).

  • Mandatory: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. degree in the relevant field.

  • A strong record of publications in peer-reviewed Journals and Books.

  • Experience in guiding student projects, research, and consultancy.

  • Membership in professional bodies and a commitment to academic and student development activities.

Salary and Benefits

  • Pay Scale: The compensation will be based on qualifications and experience, in accordance with AICTE norms.

  • Weightage: Significant weightage will be given for publications in reputed journals and books during the selection and compensation process.
