1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Department of Hydrology

Project Title: CO-INVENT: Cooperative project between India and Norway on studying cryo-climatology of the glaciated Himalayan region
Sponsor: University Grants Commission (UGC)

• Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01 vacancy

• Qualifications:

  • M.Tech in Geomatics/Remote Sensing & GIS/Hydrology with B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

  • GATE qualification is mandatory.

• Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in hydrological modelling, geospatial analysis, SAR data processing, or glaciology.

• Duration: 3 years or project completion (whichever is earlier).

• Salary: ₹37,000/month + HRA (based on experience).

• Job Role:

  • Conduct research on glaciology, cryosphere studies, snowmelt runoff modelling, and geospatial analysis.

  • Fieldwork in the Himalayan region for data collection.

Project Title: “An EEG Study on Brain Dynamics of Mind Wandering Based on Personality Differences for Mental Well-being”
Sponsor: ANRF, New Delhi

Key Details:

• Position: Project Associate-1 – 01 vacancy

• Qualifications:

  • B.E/B.Tech in CSE/ECE/Neuroscience with CGPA > 7.5 (or 75% marks).

  • CSIR-UGC NET/JRF or GATE qualification required.

• Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in signal processing, neuroscience, Python programming, and machine learning.

• Duration: 1 year (extendable to 3 years based on performance).
