Project Overview

The Centre for Media Studies at the School of Social Sciences is undertaking a research project that requires a dynamic team. The project involves extensive field research and data analysis within the social sciences domain, focusing on media studies and related sociological inquiries.

Available Positions, Qualifications, and Remuneration

1. Field Investigator (02 Positions)

  • Position Code: FI-01

    • Duration: 04 Months (extendable)

    • Qualification: Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline (Sociology, Political Science, Economics, etc.) with a minimum of 55% marks.

    • Remuneration: ₹20,000 per month.

  • Position Code: FI-02 (Urdu Proficiency)

    • Duration: 03 Months (extendable)

    • Qualification: Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.

    • Desirable Skill: Must be proficient in reading, writing, and translating the Urdu language.

    • Remuneration: ₹20,000 per month.

2. Research Associate (01 Position)

  • Duration: 06 Months

  • Qualification: Postgraduate in a Social Science discipline (min. 55%) AND must possess a NET qualification OR an M.Phil. degree OR a Ph.D. degree.

  • Remuneration: ₹47,000 per month.

3. Research Assistant (02 Positions)

  • Duration: 06 Months

  • Qualification: Ph.D. OR M.Phil. OR a Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.

  • Remuneration: ₹37,000 per month.
