[Received the assent of the Governor on the 23rd July, 2018, assent first published in the “Madhya Pradesh Gazette (Extra-ordinary)”, dated the 28th July, 2018.] The Sardar Patel University campus is situated amidst the verdant surroundings, stretching over nearly 80 acres of land owned by Vindhya Shiksha Samiti, Sardar Patel Knowledge City, Waraseoni Road, Dongariya, Balaghat (M.P).
Designation: Vice Chancellor
Vice Chancellor being the academic as well as administrative head is expected to be:
- Visionary with proven leadership qualities, administrative capabilities as well as teaching and research credentials.
- Having outstanding academic record with Ph.D. and minimum of 10 years of experience as a Professor in a University system or Dean/ Head or in an equivalent position in a reputed applied research and/or academic administrative organisation.
- Experienced in the field of Skill Development and applied research.
- Good in establishing strategic relationships and collaboration with industry.
- Candidates with experience as Pro-Vice Chancellor/ Vice Chancellor will be preferred.
Procedure of Appointment:
- Appointment will be made from a panel of names recommended by the Selection committee.
- Candidates below 55 years of age will be given preference.
