About the Institution:

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles & Management (SVPISTM), an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is inviting applications for various teaching and non-teaching positions on a contractual basis. Located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, this AICTE-approved and NAAC-accredited institution is a premier center for textiles, management, and technology education.

Teaching Positions Available:

  1. Assistant Professor – Management (1 Post)

  2. Assistant Professor – Business Analytics (3 Posts)

  3. Assistant Professor – Textiles/Apparel/Fashion/Design (2 Posts)

  4. Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering (1 Post)

  5. Assistant Professor – English (1 Post)

Non-Teaching Positions Available:

  1. Administrative Officer (1 Post)

General Eligibility Criteria for Teaching Positions:

  • Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university

  • Ph.D. qualification shall  preferred for Assistant Professor positions

  • Candidates should have cleared NET/SET/SLET or have a valid Ph.D. as per UGC regulations

  • For technical subjects, relevant industry experience will be considered favorably

General Eligibility Criteria for Non-Teaching Positions:

  • Administrative Officer: Graduate with relevant administrative experience in educational institutions

  • Accounts Officer: B.Com with minimum 5 years experience in accounts management

  • Technical positions: Diploma/Degree in relevant engineering fields with required experience

  • Assistant Warden: Graduate with experience in hostel administration

  • Sports Supervisor: Degree in Physical Education with coaching experience

  3. The  date for receipt of applications is 2 July 2025

  4. No application fee is mentioned in the notification

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview

  • The selection committee may conduct written tests for certain positions

  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as per institute norms

  • Contractual positions may be considered for regularization based on performance
