Project Title

Pedestrian Safety at Signalized Intersection Crosswalks under Left–Hand Driving Conditions

Essential Qualification

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks, AND

  • M.Tech / M.E. in Transportation Engineering with minimum 60% marks,
    OR

  • At least 2 years of research experience in Transportation Engineering with one or more research publications in SCI / Scopus indexed journals

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum First Class (60% marks) throughout

  • Preference will be given to candidates with:

    • In-depth knowledge of pedestrian safety

    • Signal design

    • Traffic simulation using VISSIM

    • Statistical analysis

    • Programming skills in Python or C++

Stipend

  • ₹42,000/- per month (Consolidated)
    (For the two-year duration of the project)

Duration

  • Initially for 6 months

  • Extendable up to a maximum of 2 years based on performance
