Core Responsibilities

1. High-Impact Research Leadership

2. Grant Acquisition & Research Funding

  • Secure competitive external funding (national & international agencies, foundations, industry, multilateral bodies)

  • Lead large-scale, multi-year funded projects and research consortia

  • Support institutional research capacity-building and proposal development

3. Doctoral Supervision & Mentorship

  • Supervise PhD scholars and postdoctoral researchers to successful completion

  • Mentor early- and mid-career faculty in research design, publishing, and grant strategy

  • Strengthen institutional research culture grounded in rigor and ethics

4. Research Ecosystem Building

  • Establish and strengthen research centers, labs, and thematic clusters

  • Foster interdisciplinary and international collaborations

  • Integrate research outcomes into postgraduate education, policy, and industry impact

5. Global Academic Engagement

  • Represent the university at top international conferences and networks

  • Build long-term collaborations with global universities and research organizations

Required Qualifications

Essential
