Eligibility Criteria

Specialization / Discipline: Design

Educational Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4-year Diploma in any one of the streams of Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or Architecture, OR
    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with First Class or equivalent.

  2. Master’s Degree or equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in a relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent in any of the following or allied fields:

    • Industrial Design

    • Visual Communication

    • Fine Arts / Applied Arts / Architecture

    • Interaction Design

    • New Media Studies

    • Design Management

    • Ergonomics / Human Factors Engineering

    • Indian Craft Studies

    • Related fields of Engineering or Design

  3. Experience Requirement:

    • Minimum 2 years of professional design experience in an Industry, Research Organization, or Design Studio.

    • Candidates pursuing Ph.D. with at least 2 years of experience in a Ph.D. program are also eligible.
