Organisation Profile: In the academic year 2018–2019, SRM Trichy Arts and Science College, which is connected to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, was established.At the time of its founding, the SRM Trichy Arts and Science College had six undergraduate programs:B.Com, BBA, B.Sc. (CS), BCA, B.Sc. (Maths), and B.Sc. (HMCS). Two new programs, B.Com. (Computer Applications) and BA (English), were added for the 2019–20 academic year. The state-of-the-art building in which the Arts and Science College operates houses a state-of-the-art library with a good number of volumes and a subscription to the newest journals and magazines. Other excellent facilities include a fully equipped computer lab with the latest configuration and licensed software, a fully functional science laboratory, a front office training division, a highly qualified faculty team with doctorates and proven qualifications, high-speed WIFI connectivity, and separate hostels for boys and girls.
The institution has developed a first-rate method for program delivery that strives to enhance students’ overall competency in addition to providing university courses. Value-added training (VAT) sessions are one of SRM Trichy Arts and Science College’s distinctive qualities. The VAT sessions take place every day and are part of the normal timetable itself.
