Job Title/Designation: Principal – Law College

Job Summary:
The Principal will provide strategic leadership in teaching, research, and administration in line with Bar Council of India (BCI) norms and institutional goals. The role requires ensuring curriculum excellence, faculty development, academic growth, and fostering a strong student-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee curriculum, teaching, and research programs.

  • Ensure compliance with BCI and higher education regulations.

  • Lead faculty development and academic collaborations.

  • Promote innovation, research, and professional growth.

  • Manage academic and administrative operations effectively.

  • Represent the institution at academic and professional forums.

Qualification Required:

  • Ph.D. Degree in Law.

  • Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience as Associate Professor/Professor in a university/college.

  • Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

  • Minimum 110 research score as per UGC Appendix II, Table 2.

Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and decision-making ability.

  • Commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.

Experience: Minimum 15 years in teaching/research/industry.

Pay Scale: As per norms (negotiable for deserving candidates).
