Job Summary

The selected candidates will teach ethics, values education, and soft skills, while also providing student counselling and mentorship. The role combines academic instruction with emotional guidance, ensuring students’ well-being and professional readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

  • Conduct courses on ethics, life skills, values education, and personal development.

  • Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with institutional SOPs.

  • Encourage critical thinking, empathy, and ethical decision-making.

Student Counselling & Mentorship

  • Provide individual and group counselling for academic, emotional, and behavioural challenges.

  • Conduct orientation programs and support students’ transition into college life.

  • Maintain confidential counselling records.

Institutional Support

  • Collaborate with faculty to identify at-risk students.

  • Participate in anti-ragging initiatives, grievance committees, and inclusivity programs.

  • Promote mental health awareness and well-being.

Research & Development

  • Stay updated on counselling psychology and pedagogy practices.

  • Engage in faculty development programs and workshops.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counselling / Education (with specialization in values or ethics).

  • Minimum 3–5 years teaching experience (preferably in higher education).

  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • Certifications in Counselling / Psychology (REBT, CBT, NLP, etc.).

  • Experience in career counselling, conflict resolution, youth mentorship.

  • Knowledge of Indian value systems, NEP 2020, and outcome-based education.

  • Ability to communicate in regional languages.

Personal Attributes:

  • Integrity, patience, and non-judgmental approach.

  • Strong problem-solving and crisis-management skills.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.

Salary & Benefits

💰 Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
