Key Responsibilities

  1. Library Management:

    • Maintain and organize physical/digital resources (books, journals, e-resources).

    • Catalog and classify materials using AutoLib Software Systems.

  2. User Support:

    • Assist students and faculty in accessing resources.

    • Guide users on research methodologies and reference tools.

  3. Digital Initiatives:

    • Manage KOHA/LIBSYS and update the digital repository.

    • Promote National Digital Library of India (NDLI) programs.

  4. Acquisition & Administration:

    • Procure books/journals aligned with diploma programs.

    • Conduct audits, generate reports, and supervise staff.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Master’s in Library Science (MLIS) with First Class from a recognized university.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in library automation software (AutoLib) and computer applications.

  • Experience:

    • 1–5 years in academic libraries (preferred).

    • Experience conducting NDLI programs is essential.

Salary & Benefits

  • Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000/month
