A Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied field.

In addition, candidates must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or an equivalent test such as SLET/SET.

OR candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (and amendments) are eligible.
Exemption from NET/SLET/SET applies to Ph.D. candidates meeting UGC criteria, such as:

Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.

Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners.

Open viva voce conducted.

Two research papers published (one in refereed journal).
-
Two conference presentations funded/supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or equivalent agencies.
Ph.D. holders from top 500 globally ranked universities (QS, THE, or ARWU) are also eligible.
