Professor

Option A

  • Ph.D. in concerned / allied / relevant discipline

  • Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

  • Research Score: 120 (as per Appendix I, Table 1)

  • Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience at University/National level

  • Evidence of guiding doctoral candidates

OR Option B

  • Outstanding professional with Ph.D. from academia/industry

  • Significant contribution to the discipline with 10 years experience

Associate Professor

  • Good academic record with Ph.D.

  • Master’s degree with 55% marks

  • Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience

  • At least 7 publications in UGC-listed journals

  • Research Score: 75

Assistant Professor

  • Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant subject

  • NET / SLET / SET qualified

  • Ph.D. from Top 500 ranked foreign universities also eligible (QS/THE/ARWU)

Candidate Profile

  • PG/Ph.D. in relevant discipline

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong publication record

  • Commitment towards teaching & research

Scale of Pay

  • Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 (Academic Level–14)

  • Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100 (Level–13A)

  • Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 (Level–10)

  • Allowances as per State Government norms
