Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Training and Placement Officer to lead our placement cell and strengthen our industry-academia partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between students and potential employers while ensuring excellent placement records for our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Corporate Relations & Industry Partnerships:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential employers

    • Identify new placement opportunities across various industry sectors

    • Organize industry visits and guest lectures for students

  2. Placement Coordination:

    • Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives

    • Coordinate with companies for pre-placement talks and interviews

    • Maintain placement records and prepare annual placement reports

  3. Student Training & Development:

    • Design and implement training programs to enhance students’ employability

    • Conduct mock interviews, group discussions, and aptitude test preparation

    • Provide career counseling and guidance to students

  4. Alumni Engagement:

    • Maintain active alumni network for placement opportunities

    • Organize alumni meets and industry interaction sessions

    • Leverage alumni connections for student mentorship programs

  5. Skill Development Initiatives:

    • Identify skill gaps and organize relevant certification programs

    • Coordinate with faculty for curriculum enhancement based on industry needs

    • Promote entrepreneurship and innovation among students

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (First Class) in Engineering/Management or related field

  • MBA (HR/Marketing) or M.Tech preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training and placement or corporate relations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong network in the corporate world

Desired Skills:

  • Proven track record in campus placements

  • Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops

  • Knowledge of current industry trends and recruitment practices

  • Proficiency in data management and report preparation

  • Strong organizational and event management skills
