The Centre for Healthcare Science and Technology, IIEST Shibpur invites applications for a JRF position in an interdisciplinary project combining plasma physics, tissue engineering, and stem cell biology.

Project Details

🔬 Title: Cold Plasma Treatment Enhances Vascularization in Tissue-Engineered Skin Grafts with Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Exosome-Infused Scaffolds
📅 Duration: 36 months (extendable based on performance)
💰 Fellowship: ₹25,000/month (consolidated)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Educational:

    • M.Sc in:
      ✓ Biotechnology
      ✓ Biochemistry
      ✓ Microbiology
      ✓ Physics

    • OR M.E./M.Tech in:
      ✓ Biomedical Engineering
      ✓ Instrumentation
      ✓ Computer Science

  2. Minimum Marks: First Class (60% or equivalent CGPA)

  3. Mandatory Qualification: Valid GATE/NET score

Desired Skills:

✔ Experience in cell culture techniques (preferred)
✔ Knowledge of biomaterial characterization
✔ Proficiency in MATLAB/Python for biomedical data analysis
