Job Title / Designation:

Boys Hostel Warden

Employment Type:

Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Welfare & Discipline

  • Ensure safety, well-being, and discipline of all hostel residents

  • Enforce hostel rules and address violations

  • Counsel students and coordinate with the college counseling team

  • Act as primary contact for student grievances

2. Administrative & Operational Duties

  • Maintain records of attendance, medical details, and emergency contacts

  • Oversee room allotment, check-in/check-out processes

  • Coordinate with hostel staff for cleanliness and maintenance

  • Manage hostel budgets efficiently

3. Safety & Security Management

  • Implement and monitor security protocols

  • Conduct regular inspections

  • Respond to emergencies in coordination with security and medical personnel

4. Health & Hygiene Oversight

  • Ensure adherence to hygiene standards

  • Coordinate cleaning and upkeep with housekeeping

  • Facilitate medical assistance and first aid

5. Student Engagement & Activities

  • Organize recreational, cultural, and educational activities

  • Promote student participation in hostel committees and leadership roles

  • Foster community and belonging among residents

6. Communication & Reporting

  • Maintain communication with parents regarding welfare and behavior

  • Submit regular reports on hostel activities, incidents, and feedback

  • Liaise with college departments for coordination and support

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role
