Guest Faculty (Temporary Basis)

Department:

Department of Earth Science

Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant/allied subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

  • Candidates must have cleared UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / SET or possess a Ph.D. in compliance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D.) Regulations, 2009/2016 or subsequent amendments.

  • Candidates with Ph.D. degrees awarded prior to July 11, 2009, will be governed by the earlier regulations, provided they meet all required conditions (regular mode, thesis evaluation by two examiners, open viva, two research papers, and two conference presentations).

  • Exemption: NET/SET not required for disciplines where such examinations are not conducted.

  • Ph.D. holders from top-500 ranked foreign universities (QS / THE / ARWU) are also eligible.

Pay Scale:

₹1,500 per lecture (with a ceiling of ₹50,000 per month)
