About the Foundation Programme
The Foundation Programme is a core part of the undergraduate curriculum at Ahmedabad University, undertaken by all first-year students. It consists of three intensive interdisciplinary Studio courses:

Democracy and Justice

Environment and Climate Change
-
Water
The Studios emphasize experiential learning, interdisciplinary inquiry, collaboration, and critical reflection through lectures, discussions, studio work, and field-based activities.
Role Summary
Teaching Assistants (Studio Associates) work closely with faculty coordinators to support both the academic and pedagogical dimensions of the Studios.
Key responsibilities include:

Actively participating in morning lectures and discussions

Leading and facilitating afternoon studio sessions
-
Supporting collaborative and inclusive learning environments
-
Helping students translate theory into practice
-
Mentoring students through interdisciplinary learning experiences
