Job Summary

Raghav Foundation is seeking a passionate and qualified High School Social Studies Teacher to teach History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. The teacher will be responsible for creating an engaging classroom environment, delivering effective instruction, and supporting students in academic and personal growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Teach History, Geography, Civics, and Economics as per prescribed curriculum

  • Plan lessons according to academic calendar and syllabus

  • Prepare students for assessments, projects, and board examinations

  • Use interactive teaching methods (discussions, maps, charts, activities)

  • Conduct tests, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records

  • Promote critical thinking and social awareness

  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

  • Participate in school meetings, training programs, and academic planning

  • Communicate student progress to parents when required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Social Studies / Social Science

  • B.Ed. is mandatory

  • CTET / TET preferred (as applicable)

Skills Required

  • Strong subject knowledge

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Classroom management ability

  • Ability to engage and motivate high school students

  • Passion for teaching and student development

Experience

  • 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred

  • Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply

Salary

  • ₹29,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Work Location

  • In-person (School campus)
