Job Summary

Paramita Schools is looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to teach students of Grades 9 and 10. The ideal candidate should be capable of delivering engaging lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics while helping students excel academically and develop critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Social Science subjects for Grades 9 & 10
  • Plan and deliver interactive classroom sessions
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
  • Provide academic mentoring and exam guidance
  • Conduct after-school study sessions for Grade 10 students twice a week
  • Use multimedia and modern teaching techniques
  • Participate in academic and co-curricular school activities
  • Maintain student attendance and performance records
  • Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school administration
  • Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science or relevant subject

    • Political Science
    • Economics
  • B.Ed. is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of Social Science curriculum
  • Good communication and classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of educational technology tools preferred
