Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
Engineering Candidates
- M.E. / M.Tech in:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Robotics
- Electronics
- Instrumentation
with a minimum of 55% marks.
Science Candidates
- M.Sc. in:
- Physics
- Electronics
- Instrumentation
- Marine Science
with a minimum of 55% marks and demonstrated aptitude in hardware and mechanical systems.
Preference will be given to M.E./M.Tech candidates.
Desirable Qualifications
- Valid GATE qualification.
- Experience in precision mechanical design.
- Knowledge of automation and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as:
- SolidWorks
- AutoCAD
- Experience with:
- Arduino
- Raspberry Pi
- Sensors and control systems
- Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
- Willingness to participate in coastal and marine field trials.
