The Department of Botany invites eligible candidates to attend a Walk-in Interview for the position of Project Associate-I under a DBT-sponsored research project. The appointments are purely temporary and will remain co-terminus with the project.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a First Class in any one of the following:
- M.Sc.
- M.Tech.

- Or any other relevant discipline from a UGC-recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:
- Biochemical analysis of medicinal plants
- Plant tissue culture
- Molecular biology techniques
- Plant biotechnology research
- Laboratory handling and documentation
- Scientific data analysis and report preparation
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Assisting in research related to medicinal and aromatic plants.
- Conducting laboratory experiments and biochemical analysis.
- Supporting plant tissue culture and molecular biology work.
- Collecting and analyzing research data.
- Maintaining laboratory records and project documentation.
- Assisting the Principal Investigator in project execution and reporting.
- Participating in field visits, sample collection, and research activities.
