Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
- UGC-NET/CSIR-NET or an equivalent accredited eligibility test.
- Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations may be exempted from the NET requirement.
- Superannuated teachers may also apply, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
Applicants should ensure that they satisfy the department-specific qualifications prescribed in the official notification.
Job Responsibilities
Selected Guest Faculty members will be responsible for:
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Preparing lesson plans and course materials.
- Conducting lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical classes.
- Evaluating assignments, examinations, and student performance.
- Mentoring students in academic and research activities.
- Participating in departmental academic activities.
- Performing other academic responsibilities assigned by the university.
